Making of KURSK Pages 11 & 12

KURSK will be on hiatus for another few weeks as I prepare for the San Diego Comic Con. I hope to see everybody there!
When I return I'll be wrapping up the first issue of KURSK to be available for purchase.
See you back here in a few weeks for the action-packed, chapter one conclusion of KURSK!!

  3. Really cool. I like the spot black marker layouts inspired me to try something like that. Layouts are super important.

  4. Thanks Dan! Yeah, layouts are very important if you want a tight page design. In this case I was planning to do page 11 in all silhouette, and I wanted to make sure the page reads well as silhouette figures, and structures. I think it's important to sketch out in silhouette even if the page remains open because it ensures that characters are recognizable at a glance, and that composition appears dramatic in design.
